I love being a wedding and portrait photographer in Maine, despite the fact that NOTHING is close to anything else.
But the drive is usually worth it. From coastal wedding venues and rustic barns to mountain views and Maine’s ridiculous fall color, there’s no shortage of incredible places to photograph.
But the scenery has never been the most interesting part to me.
It’s the people: the laughter, the quiet moments, and the ridiculous stuff nobody planned.
That’s what I want to photograph.
Maine just happens to give us one hell of a backdrop.
